1. Licensed realtors only
Connect the Dots is only for licensed realtors. Your name will be cross-checked against provincial or state real estate association records to ensure you are an active member of the real estate community. If you are found not to be, we will revoke your Connect the Dots membership. You agree to keep your profile accurate.
2. Sharing opportunities responsibly
- Posts are shared with agents at other brokerages. Only post opportunities your client and brokerage have authorized you to share.
- Keep client names, phone numbers, emails and exact addresses out of public notes and photos. Use the private client fields instead.
- Anything you learn from another agent's post is confidential. Use it only to pursue a deal for a genuine client, and never republish, scrape or share it outside Connect the Dots.
- Posting does not create an agency relationship, referral agreement or commission entitlement. Compensation is negotiated directly between agents.
3. Acceptable use
No misleading listings, fake buyers, soliciting another agent's client, or anything that breaches local real estate regulations, fair housing laws or brokerage policies.
4. Beta, memberships & billing
Connect the Dots launches market by market. Each market is free during its beta, and you will get at least 15 days' notice before paid plans begin in your market. Agents who join during their market's beta keep a founding rate of $9.99/month for life (retail is $14.99/month). Your rate is set by the first market you join.
Individual memberships cover one agent, not a team. Founding Team costs $39.99/month for up to 6 agents including the leader, plus 1 additional team admin; founding Team Unlimited costs $89.99/month for unlimited agents plus 2 team admins. Retail Team is $49.99/month and retail Team Unlimited is $99/month. All prices are in CAD. Team founding eligibility follows the team leader's first-market pricing tier.
Founding prices are fixed for life for the chosen plan. Changing plans means paying the applicable price for the new plan; the lifetime promise does not mean every plan costs the same. Retail prices are subject to change with at least 30 days' advance notice before the new price takes effect. You may cancel before a changed price applies.
5. Cancellation & refunds
Memberships can be cancelled at any time. However, no refunds will be provided for payments made in the current month.
6. Disclaimer
Matches are informational, so verify all details yourself. The service is provided "as is" without warranty, and our liability is limited to fees paid in the prior three months.
7. Suspension
We may suspend or revoke accounts that breach these terms, including the confidentiality rules above.
